| Job Description |
BW Support includes but is not limited to: providing guidance in business processes with SAP functionality, handling of change requests, bug/fix and possible customization, maintaining system integrity, and component integration with ECC and Portal. Additional responsibilities include developing test plans, performing system testing, writing functional & technical specifications.
Candidates need to have solid communication skills and will be responsible for mentoring and providing knowledge transfer to other SAP team members.
Skill Required
- 5-8 years of experience activating business content, setting up data loads from SAP systems.
- 5-8 years of experience developing new InfoCubes, ODS objects, and setting up loads from SAP and non-SAP data sources.
- 5-8 years of experience in query development, web application development, and workbook development.
- 2-3 years of experience in performance tuning, aggregate development, info cube partitioning & BI accelerator.
- Experience in monitoring nightly loads and fixing load problems, process chain development and monitoring..
- Ability to enhance data sources in R/3 using user exits and logistics cockpit.
- Familiar with report distribution using Information broadcasting years experience in Java development.
- 1-2 years of experience developing Xcelsius dashboards with Netweaver BI connection.
- Experience integrating Business Objects with SAP BW.
- Experience with portal development and integration of BW reports in SAP Portal or other portal environments.
- Experience and knowledge of SAP ECC and ABAP. Experience with archiving data from BW.
Skill Preferred:
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports development for BW queries and ECC tables.
- Knowledge of Universe development for BW queries.
- Public Sector experience.
