Funds Management Lead
Job Description
Possesses 3 to 5 years of SAP Funds Management and Grants Management implementation experience with at least 3 full SAP implementation lifecycle projects in Public/Federal Sector with experience in the design, analysis, scoping, business blueprint, configuration, realization, go-live, testing, post-production support, training and knowledge transfer experience in multiple projects. Experience shall also include the following:

- Experience working in a Solution Manager environment.

- Experience with funds management, formulating account structure to meet business needs, budget control, FM derivation strategies, fund accounting, fund centers, functional area, commitment item, funded programs, grants, cost center accounting, encumbrance, cost allocations, general and/or special purpose ledger, due to/due from, split processor for fund balancing, month-end and year-end closing processes

- Knowledge of integration with SAP modules such as CRM.

- Full understanding of the use of all FM master data elements – Account assignment derivation; i.e. how FM master data is derived in postings

- Understanding of public sector/council budgeting processes including knowledge of transfer of financial funds

- Experience with the Budget Control System (BCS) for whole budgeting lifecycle

- Experience with key integration points with FI/CO

- Experience with Report Painter and understanding of BI

- Experience with GM account assignment derivation – Grantee Management budgeting

- Experience with integration of Funds Management actual and budgeting

- Understanding of grant lifecycle including cost sharing and indirect costs.

Education:

- BS degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

- Desire certification in SAP Public Sector funds and/or grants management

- Shall have ITIL Foundation Certification for either ITIL v.2 or v.3

Skills:

- Experience with Financial Process (AP/AR)

- SAP skills CRM, FM, GM, PS-CD

- Understanding of the use of all FM master data elements- Account assignment derivation; i.e. how FM master data is derived in postings

- Experience with key integration points with FI/CO

- Experience of extracting data from legacy systems, data cleansing and loading

- Experience in BOBJ tools
