To be considered, you'll bring the following:
- Strong leadership experiences, with the ability to guide teams in project delivery and professional development.
- Proven track record of managing employees and matching individual goals to departmental priorities.
- Coaching of staff and driving performance.
- Experience managing mixed development teams of full-time employees and contractors in both onshore and offshore models.
- Current experience working in both SAP R/3 version ERP 6.0, AFS 6.3 and BI 7.0.
- Success in designing and facilitating requirements elicitation sessions including use of interview, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process outcome modeling, personas, user centric design, customer and user ethnography, task and workflow analysis.
- Adaptability in determining appropriate requirements capture and management methods including but not limited to use cases, user stories, customer journeys and storyboards.
- Successfully elicit from appropriate suppliers all forms of requirements (e.g. functional, performance, usability, compliance, regulatory, technical).
- Experience in full life-cycle solution delivery projects (more than 15 people, longer than 6 months).
Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area.
- 5 years' professional experience in IT or business.
- 2 years' additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years' managing technical resources including goal setting, performance evaluations, work allocations, and performance.
- Experience working as a Business System Analyst and System Analyst on multiple projects and business functions or planning relevant Application Engineering on multiple projects.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications critical.
- Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how IT needs to support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals.
- Proven ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others within work group.
- Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams.
- Lean experience with applied principles and methods preferred.
- Ability to pass a 7 year background investigation.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with iterative and waterfall development methodologies (e.g. BABOK, XP, Scrum, RUP, XUP, etc.).
- Deep knowledge and hands on creation of key artifacts including uses cases, UML, user stories, user acceptance criteria, functional specifications, configuration stories or specifications.
Specialties
In addition to those general role responsibilities, you'll need some specific experience and have some specific accountability, including:
- Deep knowledge of Planning business processes such as Supply Planning, Raw Materials Planning, Inventory Planning & Optimization, and Demand Planning.
- Experience working with Planning Applications, SAP ECC 6.0 MM/PP (Required), SAPAPO-SNP preferred.
