| Job Description |
Individual will have responsibility for tracking progress of query development and unit testing of approximately 1600 queries, and coordinate issues, ensuring they are documented, communicated to the project team for assignment, and resolved.
Responsibilities:
• Daily communication bridge between Offshore PSP developers, Onshore PSP testers, and the project’s ConocoPhillips Solution Integrator.
• Engage Solution Integrator as needed to resolve issues.
• To gain understanding of the new SAP BW security model for finance and FERC data and be able to represent it to PSP resources.
• To facilitate the tracking and resolution of issues discovered during unit testing and at a lesser degree, during user acceptance testing.
• Monitor and track the completion of development and unit testing of queries.
• Ensure development and unit testing progresses per the project execution plan.
• First line of support between development and unit testing team: Help developers interpret change script, help testing understand how to test, help resolve issues.
• If needed, ensure issue is documented for project team member to work.
• Work with project team to ensure issues are progressing to resolution.
• Assist in on-boarding both off-shore and on-shore resources on relevant ConocoPhillips policies and procedures.
• Provide weekly status of development, testing, and issue resolution to Solution Integrator and Project Manager.
• Participate in project team weekly meetings
Skill
• SAP and BW experience.
• Familiarity with BW Query structures.
• Strong query development knowledge and experience including a clear understanding of how hierarchy variables are built/used in a query definition.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or other related field.
• Customer focused and able to effectively communicate with a variety of groups.
• Strong English and local speaking skills (local at offshore location).
• Previous experience in coordination or project or team leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Bex expertise is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient with SAP FICO and Finance a plus.
• Strong knowledge of BW Finance ledgers and FERC data.
• Prior training experience a plus.
• Previous experience in change management, developing a testing strategy, and project execution. |
