| Job Description |
This position is expected to provide technical support for realization and deployment of the Navy ERP solution. Position is expected to execute and support the deployment of the SAP solution into sites, providing over-the-shoulder support to impacted end-users as well as providing a channel for end-user-facing activities and feedback. Position requires in-depth knowledge and experience in business processes being deployed and is expected to be a subject matter expert configuring and working with associated SAP modules. SAP training expertise and DoD/Navy experience is desired.
Specific Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with cutover and business validation activities.
* Providing post go-live help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving system defects ('break/fix'), and analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP solution and system.
* Supporting the training team with the delivery of train-the trainer and end-user training in preparation for go-live.
* Providing data migration Support..
* Preparing/conducting briefings, demos or training sessions.
* Supporting development of training work products.
Experience is required in designing/configuring business processes in SAP PS and FM to:
- Support the planning, control and monitoring of programs/projects including limiting actions that can be performed (i.e., open or release for charging, logistical close, temporarily lock a project from charging, financial close, funded program).
- enable project simulation ("what if" analysis).
- Collect time charges for appropriate project objects.
