| Job Description |
Basis/Netweaver support and administration includes but is not limited to: optimizing performance of SAP, maintaining system integrity, component integration, and overall system response. Additional responsibilities include administering SAP’s correction and transport system, developing procedures to ensure a stable environment, applying support stacks and SAP notes, and performing system backup/restore and disaster recovery operations. Candidates need to have solid communication skills and will be responsible for mentoring and providing knowledge transfer to other SAP team members.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required:
- 5 or more years of SAP Basis experience.
- 2 or more years of experience in Netweaver/ERP including ECC, BI, BI/Java, Business Objects, EP, PI, and CRM.
- Experience with Oracle database administration.
- Experience with Solution Manager ChaRM functionality and utilizing Solution Manager for support stack and SAP note application.
- Configuring and using Solution Manager as the central services system for technical support.
- Experience with central monitoring using SAP tools.
- Strong experience in supporting SAP technical architecture for large 5000+ end-user SAP environment.
- Experience working in a hosted environment. Proven experience in DR/HA planning for SAP.
Preferred:
- Public Sector experience.
